The Force was with us...

Gray skies cleared ensuring we had a beautiful Fall afternoon for our "Jedi Training Academy" complete with lightsabers, Padawan outfits, and a Death Star pinata. Capping it all off was a duel with Darth Vader that started out with the birthday boy striking Vader down, and then all the kids getting into the act. We concluded with Star Wars cupcakes complete with action figure toppers and a screening of Lego Star Wars (much more kid-friendly than any of the original movies, which can be too much for 5- or 6-year old kids). Everyone received a Jedi Training Certificate to take home along with their outfits and lightsabers.
